Rules of the game

Souich is a free prediction game.
You can predict basketball games from several competitions (NBA, Euroleague, World events, etc...).
Challenge your friends in private leagues or play solo against all other Souich users through the global leaderboard of each competition.

Basic Rules:
  • Simple prediction: pick the winning team → +15 points if you’re right.
  • Expert prediction: also guess the exact score
    • 45 pts = winner + exact score of the game
    • 25 pts = winner + exact score of one team
    • 15 pts = just the winner
    • 10 pts = not the winner but exact score of one team
    • 0 pt = nothing right
    • Bonus: +5 pts if you guessed the correct point difference.
    • At the end, your points are multiplied by the game’s odds.

There’s also another game mode called "RPG" where, on top of the rules above, you can use bonus cards to earn more points or malus cards to take points away from your opponents.

Each game with odds comes with two different loot chests (one for each team). If your prediction wins, you get the loot chest of the team you chose.

Detailed Rules
How does it work?

Your job: predict the result of a basketball game. At the end of the game, you score points depending on the accuracy of your shot (your prediction).

There are two types of predictions: Simple and Expert.

Simple prediction (default):
You choose the winning team.
If you’re right → +15 points. Easy lay-up.

Expert prediction:
Now you’re shooting from the 3-point line: you can also guess the exact score of both teams to go big.
Here’s the scoring chart:

  • 45 points → Perfect. Correct winner + exact final score.
  • 25 points → Almost perfect. Correct winner + exact score of one team.
  • 15 points → just the correct winner.
  • 10 points → wrong winner but exact score of one team.
  • 0 points → total airball.

Small bonus: if you guess the correct point difference between both teams, add +5 points to your score.
And finally, all your points are multiplied by the game’s odds. That’s what makes the difference between a simple shot and a monster dunk.

The RPG Mode

This is like the classic mode (simple/expert)… but with loot and cards that can change the outcome of the game (well, your score at least).

1. Loot
Each game offers 2 loot chests: one for each team.

  • If you predict a team and it wins → you get that team’s loot chest.
  • If your team loses → you go home empty-handed.
Loot is the same for all players. Its value depends on:
  • the risk (higher odds = bigger loot),
  • the balance (a very close game can also hide rare treasures).
2. Cards
Cards are the items you win from loot. You can play them in your future predictions.
  • On each prediction you can use 1 card max.
  • The card’s effect applies after the game, depending on its condition (win, lose or always).
There are 3 types of cards:
  • Bonus: give you extra points (like a smooth mid-range jumper).
  • Offensive: take away points from other players (the poster dunk that hurts).
  • Defensive: protect you against offensive cards (the big block, strong center style, “Not in my house”).
3. Order of card effects
When the game ends and points are calculated, cards are activated in this order:
  1. Defensive cards
  2. Bonus cards
  3. Offensive cards

So what’s your play? Go for max points, hunt rare loot, or mess with your opponents? Just like on the court, it’s all about timing and reading the game.
